It’s full Dispatch reunion!

Chad Urmston, Pete Heimbold and Brad Corrigan are breathing the SAME AIR right now. Said to be shacked up in some magical recording studio, your favorite jam band is creating sweet, sweet music to the tune of their fifth studio album! What’s better? A Dispatch tour has been confirmed for the summer of 2011. That’s right! Dispatch tickets for a summer tour will be available in the VERY near future. Honestly, what more can you ask for? A summer with Dispatch tickets in hand is just about as good as it gets. So keep checking back, Dispatch tickets are going on sale late January – you don’t want to miss out!

Rumors have been circulating that a newly reunited Dispatch will be working on their first studio album since 2000′s “Who Are We Living For?” It will be interesting to see how Urmston, Heimbold and Corrigan (*cough* Braddigan) have developed over the years. Will they pull an OAR and go more mainstream or keep it symphonic like Phish? My personal prediction? Since State Radio made it big and solo careers have developed throughout the years, all three members will have something valuable and different to contribute. I think we’ll be seeing something dramatically different yet somehow familiar. Either way, the new Dispatch album will be nothing short of incredible- mark my words. In the meantime, I’m just counting down the days until those Dispatch tickets become available!

There was a time, way back during the turn of the century, when a band was hitting the indie rock concert circuit hard. The band never really secured a place on radiowaves because, frankly, they didn’t need one. That band was Dispatch. If you remember when the first load of iPods came out, now prehistoric clunkers compared to today’s standards, then you certainly remember Dispatch. Dispatch was actually my first upload – having songs like “Elias” and “Mayday” at my fingertips in college? Heaven!

My equal and opposite hell, okay maybe not hell but damn near it, rose when Dispatch announced their last load of shows. I knew I had to snatch up some Dispatch tickets and live it up, so I did. Dispatch tickets in hand I saw the best show of my life at the Hatch Shell in Boston in July 31st, 2004 – a show I’ll never forget.

This website is dedicated to my favorite band, my long gone college years and how Dispatch shaped who I am today.
